We are delighted to announce the publication of the Handbook of Food Factory Design from Springer.  This Handbook attempts to compress comprehensive, up-to-date coverage of all of the aspects of food factory design into a single volume.  It provides useful background information on food factory design for a wide range of professionals, and it is hoped that it will also prove to be a valuable reference for students and instructors in the areas of food technology and engineering.  Steve James has written the Refrigeration Systems chapter of this publication.
